| St. George’s Hospital is part of the Northumberland Health Trust, and holds about 200 patients at any one time. The Rector is the Chaplain to the hospital and a service of Communion is held in the hospital
every Saturday morning at 11.00am. We have a rota of people who help with this service by going to the various wards and bringing anyone who wants to come to the service and taking them back afterwards. They also help by assisting people with the service where that is needed.
At present there are six teams of two people, with two reserves,
but there is always room for more helpers.
