Many years ago the plans of unmarked graves were unfortunately
destroyed by fire. We are therefore unable to help locate unmarked
plots.
Some still-born babies / short-lived babies were buried along the
main path on the left between the trees running from the church
towards Storey Park Community Centre. No records are available at
the church unless there is a headstone. Please contact Woodhorn
Museum .
A search of the Burial Registers (and churchyard if required) is
charged at £28 pounds for the 1st hour and a further £28 per
subsequent hour or part thereof. This includes one copy of a
register entry; further copies will be charged at £13 each.
Repair and replacement of memorial stones requires written
permission. Repair enquiries should be sent to the Rector: Rev’d
Simon White c/o Parish Office. In the case of replacement, a Faculty
needs to be applied for. The current cost payable to the Newcastle
diocesan registry is £250. The application must be made on the
statutory application forms and approved by the Parochial Church
Council. Please note that no unauthorised works are permitted. |
