The Parish Church Council (PCC)
The Parish Church Council (the PCC) is the main decision making body in the parish. Members are elected at the Annual General Meeting, which is held in April each year. Anyone registered on the Electoral Roll of the parish is allowed to vote, or to stand for election.
You can be added to the Electoral Roll at any time, by contacting the Electoral Roll organiser, Mr Noel Common (01670 516208)

The Standing Committee of the PCC is the only committee required by law. It has power to transact the business of the P.C.C. between its meetings, subject to any directions given by the Council. Its members are the Rector, the four Church Wardens, the Hon. Treasurer, and the Parish Secretary. 

There are at present three Church Management Committees (CMC's); one each for the three churches in the parish - St. Mary's, St. James and St. Aidan's. Each CMC sees to the day to day organisation of each Church, assists in the preparation of the parish budget, and brings matters of concern to the P.C.C.
